About the role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate Chef to join the team at Uniting AgeWell
Sorell
. The focus of this role is to provide high quality, nutritious meals and exceptional service to our residents to enhance their daily lives. This includes:
Planning, ordering and preparing meals in a way that will enhance the resident's dining experience, in line with all specialised diets, including supplements and texture modified foods
Ensure a high level of compliance with all food safety guidelines and HACCP procedures
This is a
casual
role working
Monday - Sunday 9am - 530pm.
About you:
This is the place for you if you have:
Hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
Have experience in a Residential Aged Care kitchen environment (ordering, budgeting and rostering
Have worked with specialised diets, including supplements and texture modified foods
Fully conversant with HACCP and food safety legislation
Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions
Are committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the
