The Role
As the
Activities Manager
, you will lead all guest activities and tour operations at Undara Experience. This includes guest transfers, tour delivery, guide training, and supporting local marketing initiatives. You'll work closely with all resort departments to ensure a seamless, high-quality guest experience while meeting operational and financial targets in line with Discovery Parks standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role, and you will also step in as a
Tour Guide
when required.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the activities and tours team
* Plan and coordinate daily guest movements, arrivals, departures and tours
* Train, mentor and support tour guides
* Manage rostering, budgets and operational costs
* Maintain high standards of guest service and safety
* Collaborate with resort departments to support overall operations
* Assist with local marketing initiatives and events

Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in an Activities Manager or similar role
* Strong organisational and logistical planning skills
* Proven leadership experience, including rostering and financial management
* Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
* Experience with Opera, Micros POS and Microsoft Office
* Event planning and coordination experience
* Resort or hospitality industry knowledge
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Confident decision-making and delegation skills
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Business, Tourism or Hospitality Management
* Senior First Aid Certificate
* Full open manual driver's licence
* QLD Driver Authorisation (desirable)
* Medium Rigid (MR) licence (desirable)
