. As a
Registered Nurse
with RAAFA, you will lead a team of professionals in providing theexcellent quality of care for which we are known, aligningwith our values of Respect, Care and Honesty for both ourresidents and colleagues. Along with being responsible forsupervising and directing resident care, you will also beinvolved in the overall supervision of the facility in theabsense of the Residential Aged Care Manager or ClinicalCare Coordinator
As a Relief Registered Nurse, this role will cover sick and annual leave of our current staff, thereby guaranteeing a minimum number of working hours per fortnight but could see your roster pattern change from week to week.

This role as the Registered Nurse will see you:
Coordinate client care needs, including assessment,case management and developing individualised CarePlan.
Provide complex clinical care including but notlimited to wound dressing; administration ofmedications; condition assessments and referrals.
Recognise changing needs of residents and liaisewith resident, families, and other members of themultidisciplinary teams regarding their care deliveryand goals of care.
Perform specialised clinical nursing tasks withinthe scope of practice of a Registered Nurse.
Supervise and lead care staff and Enrolled Nursesas part of a wider team.

About you:
Possess a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalentqualification.
Hold a current AHPRA registration.
Possess excellent clinical knowledge and skillswith 6 months experience in Aged Care.
Ability to relate to the elderly with empathy andunderstand their needs.
Demonstrate flexible decision making and advancedproblem solving skills.
Excellent time management and organisational skillsto effectively plan and prioritise work tasks.
Enjoy building positive relationships withresidents, their families and staff.
