OverviewThe Code Checker is a casual position for a supermarket chain, working Tuesday to Friday from 8am to 1pm.
This role involves traveling across metro stores to check dates and codes on perishable stock and to help ensure product quality and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor Product Expiration Dates: Regularly check expiration dates on all perishable and non-perishable products in designated aisles or sections of the store.Remove Expired or Near-Expiry Items: Remove expired or soon-to-expire products from shelves and alert management for disposal or appropriate markdowns.Product Rotation: Implement First-In-First-Out (FIFO) by rotating stock to ensure older items are sold before newer ones.Compliance with Safety Standards: Adhere to store policies and food safety regulations to maintain high-quality standards.What is requiredCurrent driver\'s licence and own reliable vehicleApplication DetailsSalary expectations and related questions may be requested as part of the application process.Your application will include questions such as:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
