Key Responsibilities:
* Explain tax principles and application in a national and global context.
* Identify and apply tax rules for individuals and small businesses to ensure compliance.
* Understand capital gains tax and prepare basic calculations.
* Prepare routine tax documentation for legal entities.
* Explain fringe benefits and goods and services tax.
* Apply tax accounting principles.
* Calculate tax obligations for different business structures.
* Develop industry understanding.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Commerce - Accounting or related discipline.
* 2+ years experience in similar role.
* Confident user of Xero, MYOB, or similar accounting software.
* Self-motivated with strong personal initiative and willingness to pursue further development.
