Job Description
The role involves working with others to deliver multi-disciplinary engineering designs. Key responsibilities include developing mechanical design deliverables, preparing documentation for equipment procurement and contract execution, and reviewing vendor documentation.
* Deliver high quality technical solutions with reference to Australian and International Standards, Codes, Guidelines and industry best practice.
* Execute project delivery within schedule and quality criteria with a strong focus on safety.
* Pro-actively work to identify risks, both project and technical, and take appropriate action to ensure successful project outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Candidates should have a Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Experience in mineral processing in a design and construct environment is essential.
* Slurry, water and solutions pumping and pipeline design experience is highly advantageous.
* Piping stress analysis experience is also beneficial.
* A strong understanding of relevant Australian and industry codes and standards is required.
