About The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an organised and proactive Administration Officer to join the General Medicine team at John Hunter Hospital. In this fast-paced environment, you will support the daily operations of the unit, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the smooth coordination of clinics, education activities, and medical workforce support.

Your Day To Day

* Clinical typing, correspondence preparation, and management of phone enquiries
* Maintenance of digital medical records and coordination of clinic and room bookings
* General administrative support, including assistance with flyer creation and liaison with presenter
* Distributing the General Medicine roster and on-call roster
* Coordinating distribution of Advanced Trainee Education Sessions

About You
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented administration professional who brings a positive, flexible, and proactive approach to their work. You will be confident managing your time, solving problems as they arise, and working both independently and collaboratively within a team. A strong attention to detail, respect for confidentiality, and clear, professional communication when liaising with medical, allied health, and administrative staff are essential to success in this role.
