About the Role Aegis Health is seeking an experienced and motivated Patient Administration Manager to lead and coordinate administrative services across our newly established private surgical and mental health hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong people leader with a passion for healthcare administration, patient experience, and operational excellence. You will oversee a dedicated administration team and ensure the delivery of timely, accurate, and professional patient services across the hospital. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: Lead, supervise, mentor, and support Administrative Assistants and clerical teams Manage daily patient administration operations including admissions, reception, ward clerical support, and theatre bookings while maintaining confidentiality. Coordinate staffing, rosters, leave management, and recruitment processes Monitor performance, compliance, and key administrative KPIs Assist with policy and procedure reviews and continuous improvement initiatives Respond professionally to patient, doctor, and stakeholder enquiries Foster a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused workplace culture Support safety, quality, and accreditation standards across all administrative functions You will provide leadership and oversight to: - Ward Clerks - Theatre Bookings Clerks - Receptionist/Concierge - Patient Admissions Clerks Essential Skills & Experience Strong knowledge of hospital patient administration systems and medical records processes. Proven experience managing administration staff rostering within a healthcare or hospital environment. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus. High-level computer and data processing skills with strong attention to detail. The ability to build positive working relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
