Branch Coordinator * Salary: $97,955 – $111,142 plus superannuation * Ongoing role * Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available) * Usual work location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne (flexibility may be available) The Role The Branch Coordinator provides high-level administrative, coordination and operational support to the Adult, Community and Further Education, Pathways and Workforce Branch. A key focus of the role is providing executive and administrative support to the Executive Director, ensuring the effective management of day-to-day commitments and priorities. The role also supports branch-wide operations, including coordinating meetings, communications, internal governance processes and responding to operational requests. Working closely with the Office of the Executive Director and across the branch, the Branch Coordinator plays an important role in enabling a well-organised, collaborative and high-performing work environment and contributes to continuous improvement of branch operations. Main accountabilities * Provide specialist administrative and corporate support expertise to the branch and leadership team. * Apply and maintain authoritative administrative and governance processes within the work area. * Develop and maintain guidelines and procedures to support effective branch operations. * Draft reports and recommendations through the interpretation and analysis of information and data. * Manage operational work activities and contribute to innovative and improved ways of working. The Team The position of Branch Coordinator forms part of the Adult, Community and Further Education, Pathways and Workforce Branch within the Skills and TAFE Group. The Branch brings together practical linkages between pre-accredited learning and pathways to further training and employment. It works across the skills ecosystem to improve outcomes for adult learners, leads strategy and investment in pre-accredited training, and provides expert advice across the Skills and TAFE portfolio in partnership with government, industry and education stakeholders. About You You are a proactive and organised administrator with strong coordination and communication skills. You work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and adapt quickly to changing priorities. You bring sound digital and technological literacy, particularly in the use of Microsoft Office tools, and can interpret information to develop clear reports and recommendations. You are comfortable working autonomously, supporting others, and contributing to continuous improvement in a busy executive and branch environment.
