About the role
We are looking for an experienced Tiler to join our team at TradeCo Building Services Pty Ltd. This is a full-time role responsible for the installation of tiles on residential and commercial projects. You will be working as part of a skilled team to deliver high-quality tiling work on a variety of different sites.
What you'll be doing
1. Accurately measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas
2. Properly prepare and level surfaces for tiling
3. Expertly install tiles using the correct adhesives and grouts
4. Ensure tiled areas are sealed and grouted to a professional standard
5. Collaborate with other tradespeople to coordinate the tiling work
6. Maintain a clean and organised work area
7. Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures
What we're looking for
1. Formal qualification in tiling or at least 3 years' experience as a Tiler
2. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to a high standard of finish
3. Proficient in reading and interpreting building plans and specifications
4. Experience working on both residential and commercial tiling projects
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
6. A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
7. Commitment to workplace health and safety
