Overview
The Role: We’re recruiting a Temporary Maintenance Operative - to support a busy accommodation site in Newcastle. You’ll be the go-to person for general maintenance tasks, helping to keep the property secure, tidy and fully operational.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out day-to-day repairs and minor maintenance tasks
- Responding to maintenance tasks promptly and effectively
- Basic plumbing, electrical and joinery work (as appropriate to skillset)
- Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times
- Supporting site staff with setup or emergency works when needed
About You
- Previous maintenance or handyman experience is essential
- Confident using basic tools and equipment
- Reliable, proactive and able to work independently
- Health & safety aware and customer focused
- Available for immediate start and happy to work full-time
Details
Location: Newcastle
Pay: up to £12.50 per hour (weekly pay)
Start: ASAP
Duration: Temporary 2 weeks
