Opportunity to join an international transport brand locally in Newcastle with Keolis Downer in a multi-modal operation across Bus, Ferry and Light Rail services and recruitment activities.
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the business on a Fixed Term basis, until approximately February 2027.
About the Role
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will partner with key business leaders to source exceptional talent for all roles within the Newcastle business. Ranging from high volume roles, to specialist positions, there is plenty of opportunity to showcase your Talent Acquisition skills
You will create positive candidate experiences, manage the recruitment function through to induction, and deliver great hiring outcomes for the business.
Further, you will have an innovative mindset, recommending efficiencies, enhancing current processes, or new ways or sourcing talent.
This position has the option to be full-time or part-time. Based in the Hamilton depot, there is opportunity for flexibility on hours or days.
About You
We are looking for candidates who have the following experience and skills:
* Experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or talent sourcing;
* Experience in developing and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as hiring managers, candidates and employees;
* Highly developed communication skills;
* Excellent time management abilities, with the ability to work with competing priorities and deadlines;
* Experience within the transport sector, or high-volume recruitment, would be highly regarded.
