WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

You will work with Demand and Supply Management (DSM), Merchandising and Analytics, to develop a robust assortment planning framework that includes product depth, flow and SKU efficiency, whilst providing marketplace consumer insights to evolve the product line. Your plans will drive increased revenue, margin and optimize inventory. You will understand product, marketplace, member/membership, insights and marketing strategies to advise consumer demand and inventory forecasts.

You will work across pre-season, in-season and post-season planning. A typical day/week will involve building bottoms up forecasts to inform pre-season decisions, sales analysis to identify risk and opportunity and collaboration with your account team to manage performance. You will use analytics, technology, data and cross-functional inputs to support product-based retail sales and inventory investment forecasts to advise merchandising, finance, marketing, supply & inventory planning and operations.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

In this role, you will be an objective business partner to merchandising, allocation planning, and merchandise financial planning to help deliver clear, thoughtful, fact-based business decisions. You will collaborate and influence these key cross functional partners to inform pre-season and in-season risks & opportunities.

WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Merchandising, Business, Sales, Retail, Finance or combination of relevant education, experience and training.
- Proven track record in retail, assortment and/or merchandising planning, inclusive of scenario planning across revenue, margin and inventory.
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence others; efficiently communicate complex and/or critical topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience; experience working with highly diverse international team preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of retail math; ability to interpret financial sales data to make decisions and recommendations that impact the business.
- Experience working across multiple business platforms, including vertical retail, owned and partner businesses.
- Familiarity with merchandise and forecasting management systems and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with management and external resources.
