About this Teaching Opportunity
* Multiple positions are available for dedicated educators.
* This is a Continuing, Full-Time (36.25 hours per week, with potential for overtime) role in the School of Trades.
* Candidates should be willing to relocate to Regional Queensland.
* Total Remuneration $123,737 to $137,091 pa (including salary of $104,560 to $115,844 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading) will be provided.
We are seeking experienced professionals who can shape the next generation of tradespeople.
Your industry knowledge and hands-on experience will help train apprentices to meet the demands of a growing workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
You will bring your practical skills into the classroom and workshop, guiding students through real-world scenarios to ensure they graduate job-ready.
Delivering hands-on training, leading classroom discussions, or mentoring apprentices - your expertise will make a lasting impact.
Full support will be given to help you gain the qualifications to teach while working in a secure role that offers great career progression.
Requirements:
A relevant qualification in electrical, instrumentation, engineering, or similar is required.
You must also be willing to obtain a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE 40116), if not already completed.
Knowledge of the education and training sector and the ability to positively respond to new directions and demands of the training market is essential.
Possession of current industry skills directly relevant to the training/assessment being delivered is necessary.
An Electrical Licence (QLD) is also required.
