We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Professional to join our team.
This role provides an exciting opportunity to support the development of a quality management system that fosters continuous improvement and excellence in all aspects of our operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of our Quality Management System
- Work with regulatory bodies to ensure ongoing compliance requirements with relevant aviation standards.
- Perform delegated Part 145, Part M Quality Manager duties as required to support program operations
- Conduct internal audits to assess system compliance to applicable regulations, standards and contract requirements
- Develop, implement and maintain quality directives, policies, plans, processes and work instructions
- Track, monitor, measure and report the health and performance of our local quality management system
- Lead and/or coordinate investigations and associated root cause analysis activities
- Contribute to product safety through active participation in our Safety Management System (SMS) program.
- Collaborate with staff to deliver a quality capability that provides site-based support.
**Requirements:**
- A minimum of technical and/or further education qualifications in either Quality Management, Engineering or equivalent demonstrated experience
- An understanding and ability to conduct audits to required aviation standards
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a similar quality role and/or within a similar project environment
- Strong problem solving ability, self-motivation and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
**Desirable Qualifications:**
- Qualification in Aviation Maintenance related discipline
- Holds or has held a CASA or DASR Part 66 Licence or equivalent
- Completed ISO 9001 Lead Auditor training by a recognised training organisation
- An understanding of relevant aviation regulations
- Experience with Lean methodology
