Australia sydney permanent au$160000 - au$175000 per annum**A prestigious Financial Services provider is seeking an IT Service Continuity Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.**
In this newly created role, you will Working closely with the Major Incident Manager and take ownership of the IT Service Continuity function. You primary responsibilities will be to design, embed and streamline their business continuity plans, processes and procedures. This will include governance and continuous improvement of their Service Continuity / BCP processes and procedures, contributing to their major incidents playbook along with reporting / analytics and extensive stakeholder engagement with a range of technical and business stakeholders from across the business.
This position will also assist in managing major incidents when required and as such you will be required to be on-call 24/7.
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
- Tertiary qualifications with relevant industry certifications (ie. ITIL)
- Extensive IT Service Continuity / Business Continuity experience gained within large, complex environments (preferably Financial Services)
- Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure / service management (ITSM) with proven experience working in 24/7 environments
- Exceptional customer service and stakeholder engagement skills combined with strong communication skill
- Strong process improvement mindset
- Superior problem solving and skills
- Experience using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira
