About the Role
This position involves ensuring overall care of clients is delivered, leading the team in day-to-day duties, and providing support in areas such as personal care, domestic assistance, social support, transport activity, and meal prep.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a team effectively. They should also possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
The role requires a high level of independence, with the ability to work autonomously and make decisions quickly. The candidate should also be able to build strong relationships with clients and their families, providing a high level of emotional support and guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Personal Care: Assistance with daily self-care activities, including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, medication prompting, and standby assistance.
* Domestic Assistance: Assistance with light cleaning, dishwashing, laundry, and meal preparation.
* Transport: Assisting clients to/from appointments and social activities.
* Social Support: In-home or outside support to access community facilities.
