About The Role
* Collaborate with project managers to understand and fulfill project-specific purchasing needs.
* Conduct market research to identify suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and establish supplier agreements.
* Implement cost-saving strategies and expedite deliveries to meet project deadlines.
* Oversee daily procurement activities, including issuing purchase orders (POs), managing vendor relationships, and performing cost analyses.
* Utilise MRP system to track orders and inventory, ensuring alignment with project schedules.
* Lead procurement efforts for multiple projects, ensuring objectives, timelines, and budgets are met.
* Collaborate with project teams to address material requirements and resolve supply chain challenges.
* Qualify and evaluate suppliers through site visits, financial due diligence, and adherence to procurement policies.
About You
* Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Well-developed negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
* Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or related industries.
* Familiarity with procurement for large-scale projects.
* Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel functions.
* Experience with lean methodologies and process optimisation.
* Knowledge of compliance standards and financial due diligence in supplier management
