Administration Officer – Role Overview
ParaQuad Tasmania (ParaQuad Association of Tasmania Inc.) is a charity based in Glenorchy, Tasmania offering programs and services for people with spinal cord injury and physical disability.
The Administration Officer is responsible for providing administrative and operational support in order to ensure effective and efficient business operations of the Associations Head Office and Glenn Moore Units.
Objectives:
* Oversee the administration and operational aspects of the Association’s Tolosa Street office
* Coordinate repairs and maintenance of equipment and buildings
* Prepare and maintain organisational spreadsheets, registers and databases
* Provide administrative support to program staff
* Assist with the running of Association events
* Manage bookings and logistics for our 2 acessible accommodation units
* Direct calls and respond to inquiries
* Perform other related duties as required from time to time
Qualifications & Attributes:
The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills/experience:
* Certificate 2 or 3 in Business Administration, or at least two years demonstrated experience
* Demonstrated experience working in the not-for-profit sector
* Effective verbal, listening and written communications skills
* Attention to detail
* Knowledge of computerised software packages and the Microsoft Office Suite.
The role is permanent part-time ( 15-20 hours per week) based in Glenorchy. Successful applicant will be required to have a RWVP Card and National Police Check and undertake the NDIS Worker Orientation Module at commencement of employment.
