Home Care Manager Job Description
The Home Care Service Manager plays a vital role in the leadership team, overseeing day-to-day operational leadership and ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and excellent Home Care Services across Dubbo and the greater Orana region.
This key position will lead the Home Care Service to guarantee the delivery of safe, effective care while aligning services with regulatory requirements and strategic goals. They will also support the 'Connect' model of care by providing space and priority to the team for learning opportunities and reflective practice.
Risk management is a critical responsibility, identifying and responding to risks proactively, ensuring the safety of both staff and clients. The manager will also monitor and manage service performance to meet established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure high-quality, consistent delivery.
In addition, this manager will support the development of their team members by providing coaching and mentoring in an open and transparent manner. They will facilitate and implement strategies for managing workplace health and safety, addressing high-risk issues to maintain a secure environment.
About You:
* You bring at least 3 years of experience in a senior healthcare or Home Care/Community Services role.
* You have a strong understanding of Aged Care regulations and funding.
* You excel in problem-solving, adaptability, and managing multiple tasks with attention to detail.
* You have excellent communication skills and a passion for staff development, leading teams to deliver high-quality care.
