About the role
Due to the successful awarding of several high-profile infrastructure projects, we are seeking 3 experienced full-time ongoing Precast Operators to join our team in Ormeau. Together with our established team of Precast Operators, you will be responsible for the manufacture of precast products in accordance with plans and specifications.

Qualifications, skills & experience
* Trade qualifications are preferred.
* Forklift licence and Crane/Rigger tickets are preferred.
* Strong safety compliance by consistently following workplace procedures, PPE requirements, and safe operating practices.
* Effective problem-solving skills: the ability to troubleshoot issues during production and take initiative to keep workflow on track.
* High attention to quality control: ensuring all precast products meet specifications and identifying any variations early on.
* Able to perform manual handling tasks, operate equipment, and work in a hands-on production environment.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, production plans, and technical specifications accurately.
* Competence in identifying defects and carrying out repairs, ensuring products meet required standards before dispatch.
* Strong teamwork and communication, working collaboratively with supervisors and fellow team members to maintain a safe and efficient worksite.
* Experience in concrete precast, concrete placement, steel fixing or carpentry is highly desirable.
The successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment.
