We have an exciting opportunity to join our Operations team as a Dispatch Team Leader. This role is responsible for leading the day-to-day dispatch function, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient order fulfilment while supporting and guiding the Dispatch team. You will play a key role in maintaining service excellence for our brides and wholesale partners through strong leadership, organisation, and attention to detail.
Please note that this is a fixed-term contract position, with employment running through to September 2026.
The working hours for this role will be 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am to 2:00pm Fridays, based at our Burleigh Heads HQ.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Inventory & Dispatch Manager, you will support the following:
* Lead and supervise daily dispatch operations, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time
* Support, train, and motivate the Dispatch team to meet daily KPIs and deadlines
* Coordinate outbound freight bookings and liaise with couriers and freight providers
* Ensure dispatch schedules are met in line with production, wholesale, and retail requirements
* Oversee quality control checks to ensure orders meet Grace Loves Lace standards
* Maintain accurate dispatch records and system updates in NetSuite
Identify and resolve dispatch issues, escalating where required
* Support inventory movements between locations and assist with stock accuracy as needed
* Ensure warehouse and dispatch areas remain organised, safe, and efficient
* Contribute to process improvements and best practice initiatives
* Assist with stocktakes and ad hoc operational tasks as required by management
Essential Knowledge / Behaviours:
* Current Australian driver's licence
* Proven experience in a dispatch, warehouse, or logistics leadership role
* Strong ability to meet daily targets and tight deadlines
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
* Experience using ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or similar
* Intermediate computer skills and MS Office knowledge
* Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and support a team
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
* Reliable, hands-on, and proactive work ethic
