The Position
Our Quality Team Leader position in critical in supporting the Quality Manager in sustaining the performance of CEA’s management system, with particular emphasis on the continual improvement process and the identification and elimination of ineffective or inefficient process activities.
As the Quality Team Leader, you will supervise Quality Assurance inspection activities, ensuring the timely delivery of both the internal auditing program and conforming product to manufacturing processes
Key responsibilities
* Allocate instructions and work tasks to the team, to ensure smooth workflows and timelines are met / exceeded.
* Provide mentoring and on the job training (OJT) as applicable for QA to assist management with inspections and quality inspection log transactions / activities.
* Responsible for the initial, proactive management of staffing issues and employee relations in line with company policies and procedures.
* Work with Incoming Goods Supervisor to manage effectiveness of inspections and its contribution to warehousing efficiencies, including improvements using CEA endorsed technology and process improvements.
* Coordinate the Non-conformance Reporting and Corrective Action systems to ensure the timely resolution of nonconformities. Prepare Quality Documents, Records and Reports.
* Provide guidance to other departments on the preparation of Quality Procedures
* Provide guidance to other departments on the acquisition and processing of data to aid process and product improvement.
* Develop and implement quality training and awareness programs.
* Supervise the activities of quality inspection staff.
* Support other Quality Manager tasks as appropriate.

Our ideal candidate
* At least 3 years of commercial experience in managing staff in a business with a certified quality management system.
* 3 years’ experience in an electronics field would be an advantage.
* Change Management through on-going professional development.
* Strong Communication skills both oral and written at professional level.
* High attention to detail with strong data entry skills, strong analytical and process management skills.
* The ability to promote and manage change with a positive outlook.
* Demonstrated ability to lead a small team.

* Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance – Negative Vetting 1
