Parish Youth Coordinator
Location: St Patrick's Parish, Gympie Parish

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Parish Youth Coordinator to help connect young people with their faith and parish community. This role focuses on evangelisation through youth groups, young adult programs, parish events, and school connections. You will work closely with the Parish Priest and leadership team to inspire and engage young people in living their faith.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead youth and young adult groups that foster faith, fellowship, and formation.
* Plan and deliver a yearly calendar of parish youth events and activities.
* Oversee youth Masses, including music, liturgical roles, and youth involvement.
* Establish and support a Parish Youth Ministry Team and mentor emerging leaders.
* Manage youth communications, including social media and parish promotions.
* Connect with parish schools, support sacramental programs, and engage students.
* Represent the parish at Archdiocesan youth events.
* Provide regular updates to the Parish Priest and integrate youth ministry into parish life.
About You
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience planning and leading youth events.
* Effective time management and organisational abilities.
* Willingness to work collaboratively and within the mission of the Catholic Church.
* Ability to play a musical instrument is highly regarded but not essential.
