The opportunity
The Manager Enterprise Change will ensure that organisational change is managed, and projects are implemented effectively, with employees feeling supported and committed to the vision of a customer-centric organisation. This will be achieved through the provision of change and project delivery training programs, structured support, and regular communications across the business.
Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
There are two key components within this role that the Manager, Enterprise Change is responsible for:
Enterprise Change Management
* Lead the Enterprise Change Management Practice to deliver high-quality change management outcomes through the ongoing development and promotion of change management best practices, standards, competencies, behaviours, knowledge, and skills.
* Introduce a framework that supports the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) and communicate the practical tools and processes that can be drawn upon to embed change into GMCT as it works towards becoming a digital organisation, with a strong focus on customer-centric processes.
* Lead the Change Management team, ensuring that activities conducted by all the team deliver timely and valuable outcomes for GMCT while encouraging collaboration and innovation across GMCT.
People Leadership
* Provide advice, support, coaching, mentoring, and leadership to the Change team including the development and management of performance reviews and development plans.
* Provide advice, support, mentoring, and leadership to the solution owners, project sponsors and project managers and other teams oriented towards delivering change.
* Coordinate teams of cross-functional internal and external resources to ensure successful delivery of the program.
* Build effective working relationships with other departments and relevant external agencies.
* Manage resource levels in accordance with the capital and recurrent programs utilising an optimal mix of both internal and external resources.
To be successful in this position you will require:
* An appropriate change management certification.
* Degree qualified (business, human resource, organisational psychology or related field). Post graduate qualifications (desirable).
* Demonstrated experience in successfully leading complex change management process and strategy at an enterprise level in relation to digital system implementations.
* Extensive experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
* Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), and the ability to adapt communications to suit a variety of audiences.
* Acute business acumen and understanding of organisational issues and challenges.
* Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
* Experience with large-scale organisational change efforts.
