RSA is seeking experienced Mining Supervisors to join a Medium Scale long-term mining project located in Croydon, QLD (approximately 500km west of Cairns, QLD). We offer competitive remuneration, flights (for FIFO), accommodation, and meals. Future FIFO & DIDO opportunities across Australia are also available.
Reporting into the Project Manager, Supervisors will be responsible for leading and mentoring the Heavy Mobile Plant Operators to ensure safe and efficient mining operations.
What You Bring...
* Experience operating a range of heavy mining machinery.
* Demonstrated Experience supervising Open Pit Mining Operations (gold preferred).
* You will be competent in reading Pit & Dump Plans, Survey data, Drill & Blast plans.
* Solid understanding of Load & Haul with experience in using Fleet Management System(FMS) would be advantageous.
* You will hold S123 (also known as S1, S2, S3/G1 G8 G9/QMS/MSSS).
* You will hold or be willing to obtain a Standard 11 .
* Capability to pass Standard Open Pit Mine Medicals, National Police Checks, and random Drug & Alcohol testing.
* Hold a valid Australian Driver’s Licence and General Construction Induction (White) Card .
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to safe work practices and adherence to WHS and environmental requirements.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite would be advantageous.
