For over 35 years, Australian Events have operated consumer and business events across the east coast of Australia and are recognised as one of the leading event management companies in Australia. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and well organised administration officer to join our team.
The purpose of this role is to provide effective administration support across the sales and finance departments. The administration officer is also primarily responsible for high quality reception and customer service duties.
Duties
Answering phone calls and emails from customers and patrons
Greeting and assisting visitors at the reception area
Ordering and managing office supplies
Updating and maintaining our CRM database (HubSpot)
Invoicing/sales receipting within our accounts receivable area
Receipting payments, updating Event Boards and Booking Sheets for Events
Debt recovery/collection
Data entry of information into our accounting software
Responding to customer's enquiries regarding outstanding invoices
Support to Sales team with quotes, invoices, and other necessary administrative tasks
Support to Operations and Logistics department
Office and general duties
Any other duties required to be performed by you to fulfil your role

Job Qualifications
Experience in administration or reception is not required
Able to show initiative
Attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to use Microsoft Office products is ideal but not necessary
