Founded in 1997 by Keith and Ali Hentschke, Hentley Farm is one of Australia's leading luxury wine producers. Located at our Seppeltsfield Vineyard in the scenic Barossa Valley we have a stunning cellar door and one of Australia's finest restaurants. Our vineyard is one of the most awarded vineyards in Australia across the last decade and is home to our small batch winery, bottling line and offices.
We are seeking a highly motivated person with a positive and pro-active attitude to join our team in the capacity of Assistant Production Team Leader and Bottling Operator. Reporting to the Production Team Leader, you will be tasked to work closely with other members of the production team to produce high quality luxury products that represent the Hentley Farm brand in a safe environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Operation of bottling line and hand packaging areas, with particular attention to maintaining a safe working environment, high quality standards and enhancing our approach to continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
* Lead preventative maintenance and development and implementation of safe work practices.
* Provision of technical support for bottling line.
* Executing the bottling and secondary production schedule on time and within expectations.
* Maintaining dry goods storage and supply to the production areas.
* Maintaining filters for membrane filtration systems
* Adherence to Quality Assurance standards in all aspects of operation
* Assist other members of the winery and production team as necessary.
* Support the Production team and leadership of staff members.
* Other duties as required within the skill and expertise of the incumbent.
To be successful in this role, the candidate would bring with them the following experience and attributes:
* Previous experience in production line and packaging
* Experience with the operation of filler machines and filtration.
* Experience with labellers preferred but not essential.
* Ability to maintain a “one team” approach to working with winery and warehouse teams as well as the wider business areas.
* Fork lift license
