What You'll Do
* Coordinate preparation and attendance for hearings, conciliations and other case management activities for the Employee Relations Team and Leadership team.
* Provide routine advice on relevant employment legislation, the Enterprise Bargaining process and Higher Education Sector workplace requirements.
* Under guidance, prepare written advice, including, reports on workplace issues, briefing papers and correspondence, drafting and review of policies, procedures and guidelines.
* Provide secretarial support to University Committees and in the Enterprise Bargaining process, including undertaking research, preparing papers and maintaining records of negotiations.
About You
We are looking for a motivated professional who:
* Has a degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources or a relevant field; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or training and education.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and under broad direction, exercising self-motivation and initiative to complete all assigned tasks. Must effectively manage multiple competing priorities and consistently deliver outcomes within set timeframes.
* Demonstrated ability to research, analyse and reason logically.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to draft policy and process documentation and executive summaries, for distribution both internally and externally.
Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 6/7. The base salary will be in the range of $89,487 - $105,992 per annum.
The total remuneration package will be in the range of $104,699 - $124,010 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
