Nurse Manager Job Description
The position of Nurse Manager is available in a healthcare setting where the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the nursing team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Nursing Leadership: Supervise and support nursing staff, manage rosters, and contribute to workforce planning.
* Nursing Care: Provide safe, evidence-based patient care in the IV Clinic and across NIIM therapies.
* Accreditation & Compliance: Implement and maintain documentation, systems, registers and processes aligned with AGPAL accreditation.
* Infection Prevention & Control: Ensure adherence to infection control standards and protocols.
* Quality & Safety: Contribute to quality improvement and Work Health & Safety (WHS) systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Nursing: Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience.
* AHPRA Registration: Current Division 1 registration (unrestricted).
* First Aid and CPR: Certification required.
* Computer Literacy: High level of literacy in Best Practice, PRODA, HPOS, MS Office; Practice Hub advantageous.
* Integrative Medicine: Understanding of principles within a GP clinic setting.
* Training: Willingness to undertake training in hyperbaric and hyperthermia treatments.
* Communication and Time Management: Excellent skills required.
* Flexibility: Ability to work varied hours between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday.
