We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Java‐based automation frameworks and hands‐on experience testing payment switches such as Connex or Base24. The ideal candidate will have exposure to mainframe systems and a proven track record of delivering high‐quality automated testing solutions in the financial services domain.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts using Java frameworks.
* Perform end‐to‐end testing of payment switch applications (Connex, Base24, or Java‐based switches).
* Validate transaction flows, settlement processes, and card authorization systems.
* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to ensure test coverage across functional, integration, and regression scenarios.
* Work with mainframe systems to support testing activities and troubleshoot issues.
* Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and testing methodologies.
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong hands‐on experience with Java automation frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, or similar).
* Proven expertise in testing payment switches (Connex, Base24, or Java‐based).
* Experience with end‐to‐end testing in the credit card/payments domain.
* Exposure to mainframe systems (preferred).
* Solid understanding of transaction processing, card authorization, and settlement workflows.
* Strong problem‐solving skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross‐functional teams.
