Honeysuckle Health is a health services company helping people lead healthier lives by connecting them with effective, affordable and personalised care.

Reporting into the Chief People Officer, the People & Culture Business Partner plays a critical part in embedding a strong performance culture by partnering with leaders to drive engagement, talent development, and operational effectiveness.


The Role

This role provides expert guidance across the employee lifecycle, from workforce planning and capability development to employee relations and change management. Operating within a business partner model, it influences and implements people strategies that align with our business objectives.

Fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, this role supports key project-based initiatives across learning & development, performance management, M&A integration, and wellbeing. By building strong relationships and understanding the unique needs of different teams, this role helps shape an employee experience that drives both individual and business growth.

This role operates at our Newcastle hub, with flexible hybrid work options available. It also accommodates candidates based in Brisbane, where the same flexibility applies.


Responsibilities

* Supporting cultural integration across the Honeysuckle Health group
* Collaborating with people leaders to solve both operational and strategic challenges
* Providing award interpretation and employee relations advice to leaders
* Implementing talent, remuneration and development initiatives that align with our long term strategy
* Supporting HRIS administration and payroll processes
* Driving employee engagement initiatives and using data insights to address feedback


About You

To succeed in this role, we need someone who meets the following criteria:

* 5+ years' experience in generalist Human Resources or Employee Relations roles
* Demonstrated ability to form trusted relationships with business leaders and influence key stakeholders providing operational HR solutions and supporting strategic initiatives
* Thorough understanding of Australian workplace legislation & fair work guidelines
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Law or Business
* Demonstrated experience with Award interpretation
* Hands-on experience with remuneration strategy and management
* Robust change management experience
* Capacity and willingness to work in a pragmatic, optimistic and agile way, and operating with flexibility while supporting people leaders
