As the business continues to modernise, they are seeking a Digital Operations Automation Lead to streamline workflows, improve data flow, and help the team work smarter through practical digital solutions.
About The Opportunity This is a hands-on operational role, ideal for someone who enjoys building workflow automations, improving processes, and supporting day-to-day operations through smarter systems.
Working closely with operations, finance, customer service, production and admin teams, you will: Reduce manual work through workflow automation Improve how information and tasks move between departments Strengthen digital tools and reporting Support continuous improvement across the businessThis is not a high-level "innovation strategy" role.
It is a practical, execution-focused role ideal for someone who wants to build real solutions that improve how a business functions day-to-day.
Key Responsibilities Workflow Automation System Improvements Build workflow automations using Asana, Power Automate, AI tools, Co-Pilot, and other platforms Improve data flow between production, admin, finance and operations Create forms, triggers, dashboards and process steps that reduce manual work Operational Support Map business processes and identify efficiency gaps Improve digital workflows Support inventory and metal-flow process improvements Reporting Dashboards Build simple, clear dashboards to help leaders track turnaround, workload and performance Training Adoption Train staff on new systems and workflow tools Document processes and support ongoing adoption Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with the Operations Manager and team leaders Provide backup for key digital systems and Operations Manager when required About You You'll bring experience in: Workflow automation and systems improvement Tools like Smartsheet, Power Automate, Zapier or similar Mapping processes and building practical digital solutions Working directly with operations or admin teams You enjoy solving problems, simplifying processes and helping teams work smarter.
Experience in manufacturing, metals, production or logistics is a bonus but not essential.
