Your new role
As the Sales Team Leader, you will guide a team of up to 12 high-performing health insurance sales specialists within a fast-paced outbound environment. You will draw on your sales leadership experience to coach, mentor and motivate your team, ensuring exceptional customer outcomes and strong compliance standards. You will be driving daily performance, embedding best practice sales behaviours, and fostering a positive culture focused on excellence and continuous improvement.
* Leading, coaching and inspiring a team of health insurance sales consultants
* Monitoring sales and QA performance and implementing improvement strategies
* Conducting team meetings and acting as the key point of contact between staff and management
* Delivering sales and industry training
What you'll need to succeed
You'll bring a strong blend of leadership capability and commercial acumen, including:
* Prior experience leading teams within a telesales environment
* High proficiency across Microsoft and Google Suite applications
* Strong numerical ability and confidence interpreting policy details and comparisons
* Experience generating and analysing sales reports
* Demonstrated capability in managing frontline staff performance
* Strong communication, interpersonal and coaching skills
* The ability to make decisions under pressure and manage competing priorities
