Responsibilities
* Provides leadership to the Maternity Services at the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH).
* Ensures the efficient and effective provision of care, based on clinical standards and best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework by coordinating the clinical, management, education, and midwifery & nursing research functions within the Maternity Services.
* Leads and manages the coordination of overall patient care and is responsible for managing the allocated human, material, and financial resources for service delivery within the Maternity Services.
Details of Appointment
Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary
$134,109 to $140,384 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.

Qualifications
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Midwife. Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration.
