About the role
The Men's Health Nurse is a registered nurse who provides holistic, culturally safe clinical care as part of the organisation's nursing team, while leading the development and delivery of targeted men's health services and initiatives. The role maintains a broad nursing scope, contributing to clinic operations, recalls, triage, aged care support and multidisciplinary care, while building trusted, accessible pathways for men who may otherwise disengage from health services. The Men's Health Nurse plays a key role in increasing men's participation in preventative care, early intervention, chronic disease management, cancer screening, sexual health and social and emotional wellbeing.
