Are you a results-driven e-commerce expert ready to accelerate growth for a leading skincare brand? Ego is seeking a dedicated
Global E-commerce Manager
to lead the development and execution of our marketplace and D2C strategies in Australia, creating a blueprint for global expansion. This pivotal role reports to the Global Digital and E-commerce Manager and will be crucial in strengthening our presence and driving sales across key online channels.
What You'll Do:
* Strategy & Leadership: Support the Global Digital and Ecommerce Manager in defining and implementing the Australian e-commerce strategic plan, while ensuring countries are aligned with global vision and short to mid-term objectives. Work with commercial leadership to integrate e-commerce into operational plans and provide guidance on how to grow capability across the business.
* Account Management: Directly manage the Amazon AU account (Vendor Central), support contractual negotiations across markets, and oversee day-to-day operations for marketplaces and other AU retailers (e.g., Chemist Warehouse, Coles and Woolworths) while supporting ecommerce teams in other countries with implementing best practices. Provide expert support and training to omni-channel account managers where needed.
* Performance & Sales: Achieve agreed-upon e-commerce sales targets and profit commitments. Develop annual business plans, JBPs with retailers, sales/promotion strategies tailored to each platform, and closely monitor performance using SMART goals and regular reporting.
* Optimisation & Innovation: Partner with Marketing across countries to execute integrated promotional plans, optimise demand generation activities (e.g., A+ content, media plans), and manage email/socio-commerce campaigns. Regularly audit platforms, propose UI/UX improvements on D2C site, and ensure online catalogues are current and optimised.
* Collaboration: Work closely with country sales and trade teams to minimise channel conflict and with the Global Digital & E-commerce Manager to vet all agreements and investments.
What You'll Bring:
* Proven experience in managing and growing e-commerce channels and platforms, particularly Amazon, Lazada, Shopee, Noon, and D2C .
* Experience with marketplaces across Europe, Middle East and Asia highly desired.
* Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting sales targets and managing budgets.
* Excellent strategic planning, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
* A collaborative spirit and appetite to learn to navigate a medium-sized, complex organization
