We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse (Level 2) with Anaesthetics experience to join an established but growing perioperative team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating an engaging environment for staff and supporting optimal health outcomes for patients and their families in line with the organisation's Mission and Values. As the CN Anaesthetics, you will assist the Nurse Unit Manager in providing expert clinical and patient-centered care, supporting the delivery of quality and cost-effective nursing services aligned with contemporary standards and evidence-based practice.
The Clinical Nurse applies critical thinking and develops effective partnerships to ensure high-quality service delivery and demonstrates a commitment to continuous quality and service improvement.
The Person
Key Selection Criteria For This Position Includes
* Current Nursing registration with AHPRA.
* Postgraduate qualifications in a specific perioperative nursing field and twelve months of experience working in a clinical area of the specific postgraduate qualification; or
* Minimum four (4) years post-basic registration experience including three (3) years' experience within relevant area of specialty (Anaesthetics).
* Evidence of ongoing professional development as reflected in Professional Development Portfolio.
* Demonstrated high-level knowledge of contemporary nursing practices and theory.
* Working knowledge of RosterOn, Riskman, Trendcare, and Microsoft applications.
* Working knowledge of patient flow and bed management relevant to a private healthcare setting.
