The opportunity
Riverina Civil and Plumbing Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team with immediate start. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in the success of our construction projects across Wagga Wagga and the surrounding region. This is a full-time position based in Wagga Wagga, NSW.
Key responsibilities
* Safely operate and maintain a range of trucks to transport materials and equipment to and from job sites
* Conduct pre-start checks and report any issues or maintenance requirements
* Ensure loads are secured and distributed correctly to maintain vehicle stability and safety
* Adhere to all relevant road rules, traffic regulations, and company policies and procedures
* Provide excellent customer service and liaise with site managers
* Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of our construction operations
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Truck Driver, preferably in the construction industry or have understanding of trucking tipper trucks and dog trailers.
* Valid HC or MC driver's licence
* Strong knowledge of truck operation, load securing, and road safety
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
