We are seeking a talented Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our research team. The successful candidate will be involved in various aspects of the project, including collaboration with investigators, conducting high-quality research, and managing the project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engage extensively with project investigators across clinical sites to identify opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
* Conduct independent and collaborative research activities that contribute to the advancement of our understanding of clinical research, psychology, or neuropsychology.
* Develop ethics applications and site research governance approvals with local health authorities to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
* Provide overall management of the project, including administrative tasks, to ensure its smooth operation.
* Design and maintain spreadsheets and databases to track processes and decisions made during the project.
Requirements:
* A PhD (or near completion) or equivalent experience in a relevant field is required.
* The successful candidate should have a good record of and continuing commitment to research in the field of clinical research, psychology, or neuropsychology, and/or translational research that can be applied to TBI.
* Demonstrated experience in managing research projects involving individuals with lived experience of TBI or similar neurological conditions is essential.
* Experience in conducting high-quality scoping and systematic reviews, as well as rating research quality, is also required.
* Provisional or full registration as a psychologist is desirable but not mandatory.
Remuneration:
The appointment will be at Academic Level A with a total remuneration package of up to $125,877 comprising base salary within the range of $83,198 to $107,587 plus 17% superannuation.
