About the Role
As our Scaffolding/Remedial Site Supervisor, you will oversee the planning and delivery of scaffolding and access systems for complex remedial works. You'll coordinate site crews and subcontractors, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and play a key role in supporting remedial works on bridges, buildings, marine structures, and industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead daily scaffolding and site operations, fostering a strong safety-first culture.
* Oversee scaffold erection, modification, and dismantling in line with engineering designs and safety requirements.
* Coordinate access solutions to support remedial works such as concrete repairs, steel repairs, and protective coatings.
* Manage and mentor scaffold crews and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
* Plan and organise labour, plant, equipment, and materials for efficient project delivery.
* Conduct safety prestarts, toolbox talks, and regular site inspections.
* Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and scaffold handover documentation.
* Liaise closely with Project Engineers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience (4+ years) as a Scaffolding & Remedial Supervisor or Foreman, ideally within the concrete and remedial sector.
* Advanced Scaffolding Ticket (essential).
* Strong understanding of scaffold design, load requirements, and compliance with Australian Standards.
* Background in supporting remedial works such as concrete repair, structural strengthening, or coatings (advantageous).
* Ability to read and interpret engineering and scaffold drawings.
* Strong subcontractor management and leadership skills.
* Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
