About the Role
The NSW Police Force is one of the largest police forces in the western world, employing more than 20,000 people. The Senior Cyber Security Analyst will be part of the Cyber Security Operations Centre, Technology & Communication Services Command.
Key responsibilities include safeguarding the organisation's information systems by identifying, analysing, and mitigating cyber threats, investigating alerts, and responding to incidents, including cyber threat hunting.
Qualifications
* Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) National Security Clearance within 12 months from commencement.
* Experience in cyber threat analysis, incident response, and threat hunting.
* Knowledge of recognised incident response frameworks and risk‐based prioritisation.
* Valid permanent residence status in Australia or a New Zealand citizenship.

Location
Sydney Olympic Park, Sydney Region – Greater West
Compensation Package
Annual remuneration of $161,696, pa. Salary ranges from $129,464 to $142,665, plus employer superannuation contribution of 12% and annual leave loading.
