The Opportunity
At Five Star Senior Living, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to lead our Strategic Market and Business Development efforts in their region. This role will be responsible for defining and driving plans to optimize admissions and census growth.
What You'll Do
Collaborate
1. Work closely with the Executive Director and Regional Director of Sales & Marketing to develop and execute the sales & marketing plan.
2. Meet daily sales activity standards, including quotas for telephone lead base follow up calls, appointments, on-site and off-site sales activities, and other performance metrics.
3. Host events to increase traffic in the community.
4. Demonstrate proficiency in pulling, analyzing and completing sales reports.
Develop and Maintain Standards
1. Interpret and implement Management policies.
2. Provide regular in-services and orientation training to all staff.
3. Maintain an active knowledge of current competition and market trends.
4. Demonstrate excellent sales skills through client relationships, needs discovery, and post-sales activities.
5. Complete and maintain the CRM database for potential residents and referral contacts within 24 hours.
What We're Looking For
Experience & Education
1. Proven sales process knowledge.
2. Ability to run a sales department and manage staff.
3. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, sales, or marketing.
4. Minimum two years of previous sales experience required, preferably in Senior Living with significant responsibility and goal achievement.
5. Experience working with seniors is preferred.
6. Valid Driver's License required.
7. Effective communication and presentation skills.
