Sunshine Coast Radiology is part of the Imaging Queensland and Integral Diagnostic group, the fourth largest Radiology provider in Australia with practices located in Queensland, Victoria, WA and New Zealand. Across Queensland, we currently operate quality assured practices that provides Medical Imaging and Radiology services in from Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay and Central Queensland.
Sunshine Coast Radiology (SCR) has been operating for over 12 years on the Sunshine Coast, offering comprehensive quality assured practices with services including CT, MRI Mammography, BMD, general X-Ray, Ultrasound to Nuclear Medicine.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Sunshine Coast Radiology is seeking a full time Medical Typist to join our typing team. To be successful in this role, you will need to have accuracy and speed with a strong understanding of Medical and Radiology, to support our Radiologists, whilst also providing the highest standard of reporting service to our patients and referrers.
- Typing of medical reports by audio transcription
- Fast and accurate medical audio typing
- Assisting with some administrative tasks when required

**Key Responsibilities**
- ABOUT YOU
- Extensive medical or radiology experience is desirable.
- Significant experience as a medical typist across a broad range of modalities
- Highly developed knowledge of medical terminology across several modalities
- High degree of computer literacy with proven touch typing and accuracy.
- Exceptional command of the English language with accurate spelling, grammar and punctuation
- Clear and concise communication both spoken and written.
- A valuable ear for audio including the ability to transcribe files with poor audio quality.
This is a full time position based centrally on the Sunshine Coast at our Maroochydore Head Office. This position works across Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
