Kingston Hotel is looking for a full time, permanent or casual Restaurant Supervisor to join the team at Darcy’s for our popular bistro, while also supporting the coordination of our function spaces. About the role:
You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and function areas. From running smooth services to supporting front of house staff, this role is about ensuring an exceptional guest experience every time. Your main responsibilities are:
* Lead and supervise shifts in the restaurant and function spaces.
* Support staff training, development and team culture.
* Maintain high service standards and guest satisfaction.
* Assist with planning and executing events and functions.
* Ensure compliance with RSA and venue procedures.
* Work hours are typically between 11:30am and 8:00pm, with occasional later finishes for events and functions.
Skills and Experience:
* Previous hospitality leadership experience (as a supervisor, section leader, or similar).
* Strong communication and people skills.
* Confident managing a team and running busy shifts.
* Experience with functions and events is a plus.
* Current RSA certificate (essential).
