We are looking for an experienced and motivated Local Home Loan Specialist to join our friendly and supportive team at the Caneland branch. In this role, you will provide exceptional, personalised lending support to both new and existing Members, handling a variety of lending needs from personal and credit card loans to complex mortgage applications. You will build strong relationships, become a trusted point of contact, support the Area Manager with business development initiatives, help manage loan processing and distribution, coach and mentor staff, and lead our mortgage retention program. The position is full‐time, 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and may require travel to branches within the region as needed.
About You
* Lending experience and sales skills
* A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including listening skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Sound mathematical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
* Understanding of Queensland Country products and services (desired)
