**Key responsibilities**:
- Interview Australia-based companies and market experts regarding M&A strategies and market trends
- Produce exclusive articles and break news in the M&A market
- Attend key conferences and relevant industry events to conduct interviews
- Maintain and expand source network that includes corporate executives, bankers, advisors, lawyers and investors
- Communicate and cooperate with local and regional team members
**Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Excellent communications skills, including strong English writing skills
- Knowledge of financial markets and corporate finance preferred
- 5+ years' journalism experience preferred
- Ability to work both on own initiative and collaboratively
- Ability to work under deadline pressure and multitask
- Eligible to work in Australia
