We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Continuous Improvement Project Specialist to join our team.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth, enhancing customer experience, improving productivity, and eliminating waste in the business. This involves collaborating across teams to identify problems and implement solutions, leading and facilitating root cause analysis, managing interdependent project plans, and applying Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and Standard Work.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about process improvement and has strong analytical, process mapping, and change management skills. The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, and experience in Engineering, Service, Rental, or Operations environments.
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop effective solutions.
* Lead and facilitate root cause analysis to identify the underlying causes of problems and implement countermeasures.
* Develop and manage interdependent project plans to meet time, quality, and scope targets.
* Apply Lean tools and techniques to drive continuous improvement and eliminate waste.
* Manage CI workshops, training, and coaching programs to embed a culture of continuous improvement.
* Deliver measurable benefits through CI initiatives, including savings and performance improvements.
* Coordinate communication strategies for CI success stories and updates.
