Job Title: Registered Nurse for Urgent Care Team

* This role involves providing high-quality nursing support and ensuring all patients that present to the urgent care service are given appropriate care in collaboration with registered nurses (RNs).
The key responsibilities of this position include:
Responsibilities:
* Assist RNs in providing patient care for injuries or illnesses.
* Perform care activities including administering vaccinations, wound care, plastering, and providing patient education.
* Conduct diagnostic tests relevant to the patient's condition as directed by the RN.
* Support with patient services, greeting and assisting patients, monitoring appointment book, register and update registration details as required.
* Provide guidance relating to inclusion and exclusion criteria over the phone as required.
* Maintain a clean and well-stocked clinical area, completing administrative tasks such as Medicare billing, coding, and scanning documentation into patient files.

Requirements:
* AHPRA registration as a registered nurse.
* Availability to work evenings and weekends.
* Experience in primary care settings, with a focus on chronic disease management, prevention, and health promotion is desirable.
