Initial short term, 2 month Marketing Manager opportunity in Ipswich West

Hays recruitment is currently working with a Secondary Education Organisation located in Ipswich West to appoint a temporary Marketing Manager
**Your new role**
The Marketing Manager will provide expertise in the strategic development and implementation of marketing, and public relations initiatives consistent with the organisation's objectives and current demographic data.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of internal and external communications to all stakeholders including, but not limited to, social media, publications, advertisements and website marketing.
- Providing a monthly report update on budget variances, events review, successes, advertising stories, social media data and analytics
- Leading and managing the execution of marketing campaigns for key events, including the annual Open Day
- Developing branding initiatives in and out of the catchment area using business networks, suppliers and media connections.
- Ensuring all actionable matters emanating from the Strategic Marketing Sessions are executed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
- Leading the design and execution of the strategic Marketing Plan predicated on relevant demographic data, stakeholder surveys, analysis of the data generated by the analytics associated with current digital marketing platforms.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience in, and commitment to communications, marketing, business development, brand management and public relations.
- Marketing experience with a proven track record of achievement in the implementation of effective marketing plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. An ability to communicate with and relate to a wide range of people including teachers, administrative staff, parents, students, business leaders and the wider community.
- Proven ability to formulate and execute results utilising strong analytical and research skills, critical decision-making and strategic planning skills.
- The desire and ability to effectively lead and manage other staff.
- Established skills in all facets of brand management, including social media.
- Experience in digital strategy implementation and publication management and production.
- Strong event management skills and experience.
- A degree in Public Relations, Marketing or Communications or similar from a recognised tertiary institution.
- A Blue Card
